As camera technology advances, older products may reach the end of their lifespan, and obtaining replacement parts becomes increasingly difficult, making support for these products no longer viable.
We recognize the importance of our products in helping law enforcement officers and fleet managers perform their duties safely and efficiently, and we are committed to providing warranty service for all products during their warranty period. After the warranty period, we are dedicated to helping agencies seamlessly transition to our latest technology products.
The following products are entering or have entered their end-of-of life support:
In-Car Cameras:
- DVM-500 / DVM-500+: Digital Ally discontinued the production of the DVM-500 in 2019 and the servicing of this camera ended in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
- DVM-750: Digital Ally discontinued the production of the DVM-750 in 2019. Please note we discontinued all servicing of this camera in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates, servicing, and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our customers.
- DVM-100: Digital Ally discontinued the production of the DVM-100 in 2019 and the servicing of this camera ended in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
- DVM-400: Digital Ally discontinued the production of the DVM-100 in 2019 and the servicing of this camera ended in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
- DVM-800: Digital Ally will discontinue the production of the successful DVM-800 mirrored cameras in 2023 “ as we have transitioned to our next-generation vehicle system, the EVO-HD. We will offer our remaining inventory while supplies last. And of course, we will provide warranty services for the entire warranty period. We will also continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
- DVM-800 Lite: Digital Ally will discontinue the production of the successful DVM-800 Lite mirrored cameras in 2023 “ as we have transitioned to our next-generation vehicle system, the EVO-HD. We will offer our remaining inventory while supplies last. And of course, we will provide warranty services and technical support for the entire warranty period.

- FLT-250: Digital Ally will discontinue the production of the successful FLT-250 cameras in 2024 “ as we have transitioned to our next-generation vehicle system, the EVO Fleet. We will offer our remaining inventory while supplies last. And of course, we will provide warranty services and technical support for the entire warranty period.
Body-Worn Cameras:
- FirstVu: Digital Ally discontinued the production of the FirstVu in 2019 and the servicing of this camera ended in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers. We have transitioned to our next-generation body cameras, the FirstVu Pro and the FirstVu II.
- FirstVu HD: Digital Ally will discontinue the production of the successful FirstVu HD body cameras in 2023 “ as we have transitioned to our next-generation body cameras the FirstVu Pro and the FirstVu II. We will offer our remaining inventory while supplies last. Note that spare parts and accessories are increasingly difficult to source. We will provide warranty services and technical support for the entire warranty period.
Evidence Management Software:
- VuVault: The VuVault Local Storage solution is no longer being supported and will get no further updates or features. We will migrate current users over to our new cloud-based platform, EVO Web. EVO Web is a complete evidence management solution. It™s powered by Amazon Web Services, the most secure cloud platform on the market and Omnigo™s Investigation and Case Management.
- VuVault.com: The VuVault.com video storage solution is no longer being supported and will get no further updates or features. We will migrate current users over to our new cloud-based platform, EVO Web. EVO Web is a complete evidence management solution. It™s powered by Amazon Web Services, the most secure cloud platform on the market and Omnigo™s Investigation and Case Management.
Microphones:
- VoiceVault: Digital Ally discontinued the production of VoiceVault in 2019 and the servicing of this microphone ended in 2019. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
Accessories:
- ATU (Asset Tracking Unit): Digital Ally discontinued the production of the ATU in 2024. This discontinuation includes firmware updates and spare parts (including accessories). We will however continue offering technical support over the phone for our existing customers.
