The Digital Ally Open is Kansas City's Only Official PGA TOUR Event and is dedicated to the raising money for four charitable organizations that assist families locally and nationwide: Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (S.A.F.E.), Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and Children's Mercy Hospital.

History of Tournament

In 2015, Digital Ally partnered with the Kansas City Crusaders, a local organization commited to supporting local charities through the sport of golf, to transform the former Midwest Classic into what is now the Digital Ally Open. The tournament raises money for organizations that assist families locally and nationwide. This year's tournament will run from July 22-30, 2017 at the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park. The tournament is a stop on the PGA Web.com Tour and welcomes some of the world's top golfers to Kansas City. Past winners include Wesley Bryan (2016) and Martin Piller (2015).

Digital Ally Law Enforcement Training Course

Digital Ally is proud to hold the 3rd annual Digital Ally Open Law Enforcement Training. Past courses have focused on body cameras, body camera policies and procedures, pilot programs, open record laws, proper preparation, and transparency. This year Digital Ally has put together a full day of topics including, In-Car System Use Case, Body Camera Program Benefits, Data Storage Quantity and Security, Basic Equipment Care, along with other requested topics.
